Wildfires: PCSO sounds warning amid uptick

Officials with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office are sounding the alarm, due to an uptick in human-caused wildfires. Within the past month, there were at least 25 human-caused wildfires within Pinal County, which is almost as many wildfires the county had in all of 2023.

Child killed in bounce house was son of firefighter

The son of a Phoenix Firefighter was killed when the winds in Pinal County blew away a bounce house with children inside on April 27. "This appears to have been a tragic accident," the sheriff's office said. "We would like to extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the grieving family."
